When does Captain Lee return to ‘Below Deck’ season 10?
The “Stud of the Sea” will make his return appearance on the Monday, February 27, 2023 episode of the show. The previous week’s episode concluded with him calling out the Captain sand yawn to tell him that he had received medical clearance to return to Santa Lucia and resume his duties and that he would arrive the next day. Sandy told her that she would go back to having a reduced crew but running smoother than she did when she left the ship. Lee will have at least two more charters as captain before the season ends.

I am touched,” Lee told fans. in a tweet after the episode aired. In a sneak peek for the February 27 episode, she gleefully said in a confessional, “I feel like I’m back where I belong. It’s like riding a bike… but it’s a big bike,” from the 200-foot luxury motor yacht.
Why did Captain Lee leave season 10 below deck?
The skipper suffered from mobility and nerve problems during the premiere episode that worsened as the charter season progressed. They forced him to use crutches or a cane and he was rarely able to leave the deck of the yacht or his cabin. Lee eventually decided that he was unable to adequately supervise his interior and exterior crews as a result of being immobile.
“My injury, it’s getting worse. The left side of my body, I don’t feel anything,” he said in a confessional on the December 12, 2022 episode of the show. “I was expecting a lot more progress than I’m experiencing, and the most frustrating part is that I can’t do anything about it and it’s hard,” he continued.
“One of my biggest problems right now is that I can’t observe,” Lee said in a confessional about her decision to step down, adding: “I don’t know who’s doing what, it’s my job. I owe it to my crew to do right by them. They expect that of me. There comes a time when if a captain is really objective, he should put the best interests of his crew first.”
With Lee heading to Florida to seek medical treatment, he was replaced by Below Med DeckIt’s Captain Sandy.
Why did Captain Sandy fire Captain Lee’s crew members?
Even though she was only the temporary captain, Sandy had no qualms about firing Lee’s staff members. She started cutting loose stew camila cordero after he repeatedly failed to complete required tasks and showed little interest in the requirements of his position, despite Sandy giving him extensive pep talks on how to improve his performance and attitude.

Unbeknownst to the Florida native, Sandy overheard Alissa gossiping about her boss on several occasions, including how she apparently favored the deck crew at the expense of the inside crew. After an attitude meeting with her, Sandy fed up and let Alissa go without warning less than two hours before she was scheduled to start a charter flight.

Lee was furious that Sandy hadn’t given him the courtesy of calling him to let him know she was firing Camille. “If I had been temporarily filling in for Captain Sandy on her ship and felt the need to fire one of her crew, I would have called her first to let her know what she was doing and why,” Lee tweeted on Jan. 23, 2023. He added that he agreed with his decision, “but not how he did it.” Lee also said that Sandy “disregarded procedure and respect” by firing a member of her team without telling her first.
