Speaking his piece. Vander Pump Rules star tom schwarz broke his silence on Thomas Sandovalcheating scandal with Rachel Leviss and separated from the ex-girlfriend ariana madix.
“[Sandoval’s] Fine, I guess,” the 40-year-old Schwartz & Sandy co-owner said in a video obtained by TMZ on Saturday, March 11. “Relatively speaking. I mean, he has a feeling of deep sadness, rightly so. I think it feels like a piece of shit, and to a degree, maybe it is. But he knows that he screwed up. The whole thing is really sad.”
Schwartz added that the situation now dubbed “Scandoval” is “fucking complicated.”
“Really, I’m saddened by the negative impact it’s having on our business, but I think a cool head will prevail and I’ll move on,” he added.
On March 3, In contact confirmed that Sandoval, 39, had cheated on Madix, 37, with Leviss, 28. A day later, Sandoval and Schwartz’s bar addressed the situation and the reaction he received from vpr fans in an Instagram post.
“In light of the recent news, we appreciate the many words of support, but we also understand the great outrage that has been directed at our businesses,” the statement on the business’s Instagram page read on March 4. “However, those of us who are not famous have dedicated our time, hearts and money to make this restaurant a reality. … Our staff, from the waitresses and bartenders to the cooks and dishwashers, have had nothing to do with this unfortunate situation. Keep in mind that posting negative comments affects more than just the person you may be upset with.”
In addition to his business deals, Schwartz also expressed his support for Madix, who Sandoval dated for nine years.
“Luckily, Ariana has a really good support system and is with her friends,” Bravolebrity explained. I’m not sure where she is. I hope she is living a good life, just enjoying herself. I hope she goes on a spree. I just hope this is all over, you know?
Since news of her and Sandoval’s split broke, Madix has remained quiet about the situation. However, Sandoval and Leviss released their respective statements through Instagram.
“I want first and foremost to apologize to everyone I have hurt during this process. Above all, I want to apologize to Ariana,” Sandoval wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, March 7. “I made mistakes, I was selfish and I made reckless decisions that hurt someone I love. No one deserves to feel that pain in such a traumatic and public way. I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us.”
On Leviss’s side, the former pageant queen also apologized to Madix, writing via Instagram on Wednesday, March 8: “There is no excuse, I am not a victim and must be held accountable for my actions, and I am deeply sorry that I have hurt Ariana”.
Schwartz and Leviss previously made headlines for their steamy make-out session in August 2022, shortly after he split from his now-ex-wife, Katie Maloney, that summer. In light of the news of Leviss and Sandoval’s affair, fans speculated if Schwartz only kissed Leviss at the time to help cover up his affair with Sandoval.
“No, that’s not true. Unless he was a pawn in the game,” Schwartz said on March 11.
As for whether he knew about the ongoing affair, Schwartz added, “You’ll see it on the show.”
