The weight-loss drug Ozempic has become the most talked about new drug in Hollywood, with several celebrities denying taking it to lose weight. Meanwhile, others have admitted to using the drug and described its results.
FDA approved semaglutide — which was originally produced for adults with type 2 diabetes — works with the brain to reduce food cravings. It also makes a person feel fuller faster when eating and regulates how the body stores fat and uses sugar. The prescribed medication is given by injection once a week.
kyle richards has been one of the most prominent celebrities in denying the use of Ozempic. On January 5, 2023, she appeared in a post-workout Instagram photo wearing a fitted top and leggings while looking ripped, causing fans to question her perfect figure.
One person commented, “Kyle is skinnier than ever,” while another wrote, “Liability or Ozempic lol.” He Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star fired back, responding: “Don’t spread lies. I’m not on Ozempic”, to one of the users who accused her of using the drug to lose weight.
The issue came up again when the reality star wore a black bikini in a mirror selfie on Jan. 16. As users hit her with more accusations about how she achieved her fabulous figure, Kyle doubled down: “I’ve never tried Ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery,” though Bravolebrity added that she had “a breast reduction” in May 2022. . .
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga admitted he thought Kyle had been taking Ozempic to achieve his new body during a January 26, 2023 appearance on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.”
“I’m not going to lie, when I first saw her I was like, ‘Ooh, she’s taking that stuff,'” Melissa confessed, adding that she was willing to listen to any denials from Kyle. “And then when she said that, I was like, ‘Oh, she’s fine, maybe not.’ You know, I don’t know. I didn’t even text him and ask him.”
Jeff said he didn’t believe Kyle’s explanation that he cut out carbs, alcohol and sugar to achieve his lean frame. “I think what he did probably came off of that to say, ‘I’m not on it!’ So she’s not technically lying”, the former Freaking Star commented, adding, “I love her, but it’s not just that I haven’t drunk since July, I mean come on.”
Representatives for Kyle and Melissa did not immediately respond to In contactrequest for comments.
Several celebrities have admitted to trying Ozempic, and at least one did so without knowing it.
“So my anti-aging doctor just gives it to anyone. He didn’t even know he was in on it. She said, ‘If you ever want to lose five pounds, this is good,'” comedian chelsea manager she confessed during a January 25 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“I came back from a vacation and injected myself. I went to lunch with a friend a few days later, and she said, ‘I’m not really going to eat anything. I’m so dizzy. I’m at Ozempic,’” Chelsea recalled of the conversation. “And I was like, ‘I’m a little nauseous too.’ But I had just come back from Spain and I had jet lag”.
When the friend asked if she was taking Ozempic, Chelsea told her that she was taking “semaglutide.” Her friend broke the news: “That’s Ozempic.” He chelsea does alum soon stopped taking the medication.
“I’m not in it anymore. That is too irresponsible,” he told the host. Alex Cooper. “I’m an irresponsible drug user, but I’m not going to take a diabetes medication. I tried, and I’m not going to do that. That’s not for me. That’s not right for me.”
Chelsea had a warning for other Hollywood stars. “Everyone is at Ozempic. It’s going to backfire, something bad is going to happen,” she shared.
