When is ‘Sister Wives’ season 18?
The premiere date for the hit reality series has yet to be revealed. However, Christine confirmed via Instagram that she had already started filming in November 2022.
“I’m finally filming at my house in Salt Lake!!” she captioned a selfie post that month. “Very excited! #sisterwives #filming #newbeginnings.”
Two months earlier, season 17 premiered on September 11.
Who is in the cast of ‘Sister Wives’ season 18?
After Christine and Kody announced their split in November 2021, it was unclear if she would remain a cast member on sister wives.
“After over 25 years together, Kody and I have parted ways and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” Christine wrote via Instagram at the time. “We will continue to be a strong presence in the lives of others as we raise our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate this stage within our family.”
Despite the duo noting that they would continue to be a “strong presence” in each other’s lives, season 17 revealed the explosive drama that ensued within the Brown family following the departure of the Plexus ambassador.
“I accepted to be a sister wife, but I accepted to be an equal wife,” Christine said during a confessional, referring to her belief that Kody preferred his fourth wife, Robyn, to her.
As a result, the women were at odds for most of the season, especially Robyn and Christine. Not only that, but Kody also didn’t hold back from sharing her feelings about the loss of one of her spiritual spouses.
“I never want to see Christine again,” Kody said angrily in one episode. I don’t want to think about her. I don’t want to walk past this house anymore and cry about this. I don’t want to sit and be in this place again. I don’t want to deal with this at all.”
As a result, fans wondered if Christine’s breakup with Kody meant she would no longer film the series.
However, the ex-sister wife confirmed in a November 2022 interview with entertainment tonight that she chose to stay on the show.
“I promised Kody and everyone else that I would stay with sister wives as long as we get the show to be fair,” Christine said. “It’s what our family has been doing for so long. I feel like it would be unfair if I, you know, decided not to be a part of the show.”
Not only that, but Christine even gave fans an update on how filming was going in February 2023 after sharing a photo via Instagram with her new boyfriend. david woolleywhich featured a camera crew in the background of the shot.
