Photoshop failed? khloe, Kim and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family have come under fire for editing their photos on social media over the years. Whether it’s cheeky bikini shots or group photos of the family, the keeping up with the Kardashians stars have been captured apparently altering their faces and bodies.
In April 2020, Kylie Jenner she shared a slew of sizzling photos of herself in a barely there rainbow bikini by her pool. Her followers immediately noticed some very obvious evidence of editing, including the warped edge of the pool. The Kylie Cosmetics founder quickly deleted the images and reposted the same shots without the mistakes her commenters pointed out. However, her Photoshop error was already making the rounds on the Internet.
Of course, reality stars sometimes use editing tools for different reasons. Kim revealed that her daughter Chicago West had to be photoshopped into the family portrait for Halloween in 2019. Kim, her husband estranged from her, Kanye Westand their children dressed as various characters from The Flintstones before their separation.
As five of the six family members posed next to each other, fans couldn’t help but notice that Chicago looked a bit crouched in the corner with a halo around her.
“This family photo was quite a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL We tried to explain and show him that he was just a dad but he still didn’t get the concept! Kim explained about her sweet daughter, who was just 21 months old at the time, in a caption on Instagram. “So thanks to the photographer for editing it and making our family flintstone [sic] dreams come true!”
That wasn’t the only time Kim used a little photo magic to get all four of her kids out in a photo. Her eldest son, North West, was photoshopped into her family Christmas card in 2019.
“It’s the biggest anxiety to get four kids together, smiling in a room,” the Skims founder said of creating his family vacation photo during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show At the time. “So, North was having a day. She refused to be on the set. She was just crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever… So, I said okay, you’re not going to be on the card. That’s the decision…she was fine with that.”
The next day, North changed her mind and decided that she wanted to be included. The photographer was able to go back and photograph the reality girl separately and edit her out.
