When did Ronnie leave ‘Jersey Shore’?
The New York native was an original cast member on the hit MTV series. He appeared in all six seasons from 2009 to 2013 and returned for the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation restart in 2018.
However, the MTV star announced his departure from the reality series in May 2021, just days after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.
“After speaking with the MTV team, we have mutually agreed that I will be stepping away from the show while I seek medical treatment for mental health issues I have ignored for far too long,” the father-of-one wrote via Instagram Stories in May. January 13, 2021. “My number one goal now is to face my struggles head on. This process will be difficult, but my number one priority is to get healthy and be the best man and father that I can be. [be] for my daughter.”
The reality television personality was arrested in Los Angeles in April 2021 before being released on $100,000 bail.
“I am thankful for all my true friends! Thanks for being by my side [side] The last weeks[s]. I take all the experiences as lessons,” he shared with her after his release. “You learn who really cares about you when you’re down and [then] You see who doesn’t!
Ronnie’s attorneys, Scott E. Leemon and Leonard Levine, later said us weekly that “the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office determined that criminal charges against Ronnie were not warranted in connection with the incident that occurred in April.”
Is Ronni back in ‘Jersey Shore’?
Sammi announced her return to the Jersey Shore in March 2023, after previously turning down the opportunity, claiming she was “in a completely different place” in her life. While it is unclear when she will return, a week after her announcement, Ronnie made a surprise return to the series during the March 23 episode of the series.
During his segment, Ronnie gave viewers an update on his life, revealing that he’s moved in with his 4-year-old daughter, whom he has full custody of.
“I feel like I needed a change of scenery and just a change of pace in my life,” he explained. “I have decided to move from Los Angeles to Miami and open a new business. It’s a sneaker store called SneakerClinic.”
Days later, Ronnie went on to tease a potential return to the franchise after taking to Instagram with a cryptic post.
“Everyone loves a comeback,” he captioned a March 25 post, adding an eye emoji.
Ronnie sparked even more speculation about a possible return alongside his former castmates when he was spotted at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, Florida, according to photos obtained by TMZ. Prior to their detection, Vinny, Sammi, and Deena were seen in the lobby of the same hotel.
While it’s unclear if Ronnie will appear in future episodes.was hinted at by Nicole Polizzi, aka snookiethat Ronnie was the reason Sam wasn’t coming back.
“All of us girls text him like, ‘Listen! Ronnie is not on the show right now. You should definitely come even if it’s just a girls’ dinner, just with us and catch up,” Snooki said.
