A message. 90 day fiance star Gabe PabonMore applauded viewers who claim she is lying about being transgender.
“To all the people who hate me and call me a woman, there is also a group of people who say that I am not trans,” Gabe, 32, said in a video clip posted to his Instagram story on Friday, March 24. “Because I have tickets and they told me I have ‘man hands’, so I’m not trans.”
The Florida native went on to explain that fans need to “come together and agree” whether he’s a man or a woman because he’s “so confused right now.”
During the most recent episode of the 90 day fiance cleave 90 Day Fiancé: The Other SideHis fans watched as Gabe prepared to tell his girlfriend Isabel Posadaparents that he is transgender.
“Honestly, it’s the worst feeling in the world to feel like someone doesn’t like me just for who I am,” Gabe told the producers during the March 26 episode. “Right now, his father really loves me and his mother really loves me. So I’m stressed and I’m afraid they’ll see me differently.”
The 34-year-old mother of two admitted she was afraid of his reaction and if her “traditional” parents didn’t accept the relationship, she “don’t know” if she would choose her family or Gabe.
“My heart is dropping right now because he just told me that he doesn’t know who he would choose, me or his family,” Gabe continued in a confessional. “Like in the back of my head, I thought no matter what, we were going to be together. It makes me feel that our relationship is not as strong as I thought.”
Later in the series, the spin-off documented that Gabe and Isabel planned to come out to his parents that he was transgender after an afternoon of horseback riding.
“I have to tell you this because I don’t want to keep a secret and I don’t want to lie. I don’t want them to think I’m cheating on them,” he told her parents as she sat across from them at lunch. “When I was born, I was born a woman and I have been a man for 10 years and I am trans.”
