Why do fans think Caryn Chandler left ‘LPBW’?

In November 2022, a source said Sun that Caryn has decided to leave the show. “Caryn is completely over. She thinks there are too many disagreements with what they want to say and do on the air, and too much family drama,” the source said. “She feels like she’s the one who’s always stuck in the middle trying to mediate. Even though she knows that she’s probably going to get good grades, she doesn’t want to be a part of it anymore.”

Representatives for TLC did not immediately respond to In contactrequest for comments.

Caryn then revealed that she and Matt were estranged from Zach, Tori, and their children. “I hope that just… one day we start talking again, something will come up,” she said in a confessional. “I know Matt is working on his relationship with them, and as that foundation is rebuilt, I think it will become easier for us.”

“All this has been very painful. Still painful. I miss the children every day. I just… I don’t have the tools to fix it,” Caryn added.

Matt put the farm on the market in May after both Zach and his twin brother, jeremy roloff, expressed interest in buying the farm. The decision caused a big break among family members, with Zach and Tori getting further away from his family in Oregon to Battle Ground, Washington, after the deal fell through.

The father of four eventually changed his mind and decided to take ownership of the market in October. He then announced his plan to convert the house of the family’s whole life in Roloff Farms in a rental property.

What do viewers think about Caryn Chandler’s involvement in the family drama?

Several viewers took to social media to criticize Caryn for her involvement in the drama before the season premiere November 24, 2022.

Many fans felt she was too involved in personal family matters, with one social media user writing, “Caryn shouldn’t even be on the show.”

“She is so entitled. Those are not her children or her grandchildren,” another person wrote in response to a teaser clip shared by TLC in October. An additional reviewer added: “Caryn shouldn’t have been involved, at this point she’s not his fiancée or married to him… Matt, being the greedy person that she is, bought amy [Roloff] at a low price because he had always said that he was going to leave the farm as an inheritance”.
