A source close to the situation says there is “no truth” to the rumors of bad blood between Janelle and Kody specifically, who were spiritually married for nearly 30 years. “They are on friendly terms and so is he and Christine,” the source continues.
The drama surrounding Coyote Pass, which is located near Flagstaff, Arizona, was a prevailing story across season 17 of sister wives. In 2018, Kody purchased the land for $820,000 with the intention of dividing the property into five parcels for himself, the former three being his: Meri, 52, confirmed their separation in January: the only wife he has left robin brown and his sons
Although Janelle, 53, lived in a trailer home in Coyote Pass beginning in June 2021, the reality star moved from the property in November of that same year. As of February, it appears no one from the Brown family resides on the property, and it’s unclear what Kody, 54, plans to do with the large parcel now that it’s just him and Robyn, 44, here.
In July 2022, Christine, age 50, sold her share of the land, valued at $213,420, to Kody for just $10, for property records obtained by In contact.
In an October 2022 episode of the long-running TLC series, Meri claimed that they had not started construction at Coyote Pass because “it has to be paid for.”
According to property tax records obtained by In contact as of January, Kody and Robyn still owe just over $6,700 total by 2022 for four of the six parcels on the Arizona property. The couple has already paid half of the property taxes on three of the parcels; however, payments for those parcels are not counted as late or delinquent until June.
Additionally, a portion of the land, for which they owe approximately $2,350, is currently delinquent because property taxes were not paid in 2022.
