90 day fiance, but with a tropical touch! The latest TLC series Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, A 90 Day Story puts a spin on the franchise. Instead of featuring Americans falling in love with foreigners from around the world, 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise it features Americans specifically having romantic relationships with people from the Caribbean. In addition to the difficulty of navigating long-distance relationships, couples are also facing an added hurdle amid the coronavirus pandemic with fans wondering which couples have broken up or which couples are still together after filming.
90 Day Fiancé Season 1: love in paradisewhich was previously available to stream on discovery+, introduced four new couples to the franchise: Aryan and sherlon, Amber and Daniel, Steven and Martina and Key and Brand.
Aryanna was 25 years old during Season 1 and is from Quincy, Illinois. She met Sherlon while she was on vacation in Jamaica with her sister. Aryanna and Sherlon crossed paths when she and her sister went on a boat tour led by Sherlon. “I was only in Jamaica for two more days and I spent all of that time with Sherlon. She made me feel beautiful and sexy in a way that she had never felt before,” she said in her confessional. After returning home from her affair, Aryanna found out that she was pregnant. During the season, Aryanna traveled back to Jamaica while she was pregnant with her mother and her sister so that she and Sherlon could figure out what her next steps are in being together as a family.
Amber was 30 years old in Season 1 and is from Seminole, Florida, and Daniel was 23 years old at the time and is originally from Venezuela. He was living in Jaco, Costa Rica, when he met Amber, who was traveling with a friend. Daniel and her roommate approached Amber and her friend at a bar, and Amber and Daniel hung out that night. “Since I kept traveling, he contacted me every day and the last trip I made to Costa Rica I got engaged,” she said in his confessional, displaying a modest silver sash. She returned to Costa Rica one last time before her K-1 visa process was finalized, so she could help Daniel prepare for his interview.
When Season 2 premiered on Discovery+ in June 2022, only Aryanna, Sherlon, Amber, and Daniel returned. The rest of season 2 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise the cast was completed with newcomers daniel and John, In love and Carlosand the 90 day fiance first throuple of the franchise: Frank, abby and wander the streets.
Season 3 of the spin-off, which will premiere in April 2023, brought the return of VaLentine and Carlos, but it also brings another familiar face from the franchise: Lydia Jimenothe mother of Pedro Jimeno. The series is set to document the Dominican Republic native after being set up with a man named Scott from the United States.
