Tammy, 36, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, April 30, to share several photos of herself posing with her sister. amy slaton and friends.
The TLC personality was alone in the snaps and the wheelchair he previously used was nowhere to be seen. Tammy seemed to be in a good mood as she smiled and playfully posed for photos.
Fans have been watching Tammy and Amy’s weight loss journeys since their reality show premiered in January 2020. During season 4, Tammy even spent time in a rehab center for her food addiction. Early in her stay, she faced a major health problem and was hospitalized.
“They just tell us that her lungs have given up and her body is shutting down,” her sister said. amanda halterman explained after Tammy was placed in a medically induced coma. He added that her family was “faced with making funeral arrangements” for Tammy during the medical crisis.

“When I got on the scale and saw the scale was 534.7, I stopped breathing for a second,” the Kentucky native told cameras during a February 2023 episode. “I’m like 14 pounds below my goal weight. over 700. That’s a big drop.”
Tammy apparently left her wheelchair just two weeks after she was caught vaping while attached to an oxygen tank.. According photos obtained by Sun On April 12, the reality star was seen riding an electric scooter in front of a Kentucky Walmart. Her nasal cannula, which supplements her oxygen supply, was visibly in her face while she vaped.
She previously raised concerns when she was seen vaping in the backseat of her friend’s car during a season 3 episode of 1000 pound sisterswhich premiered in January 2022.
“We’ve just been drinking, vaping… when I was a teenager I wasn’t partying,” Tammy said of the habit during a confessional. “He was very shy about my weight and didn’t really have many friends.”
