Sitting together during a confessional in the middle of the ongoing fourth season of the hit TLC show, Amy began with a startling comment about her brother-in-law.
“I bet you haven’t seen your sausage in five years,” the mother-of-two began, chuckling in the middle of her comments. In classic sibling fashion, Chris quipped, “Look, I don’t want any of that,” before realizing some embarrassing advice his grandmother once shared with him.
“Grandma said where there’s a will, there’s a way,” Chris said. “And Tammy can stand up and back him up,” he continued. “Not for so long!” Amy retorted, to which her brother replied, “It doesn’t matter, don’t take so long. [sic].”
The clip of the brother-sister duo swapping was posted on the TLC network’s official Instagram page with the caption: “These two never stop,” and fans in the comments certainly agreed. “In fact, I love this family very much. Chris always makes me laugh out loud,” wrote one entertaining commenter. “You make me laugh. The whole family is outspoken and I love their sibling dynamic, even when Tammy is there. They are great,” wrote another.

After expressing some hesitation about Tammy and Caleb’s Union – since they hadn’t known each other for a long time before they got married – Amy expressed her appreciation for her new brother-in-law during an interview with AND! During the season finale, Chris shared that Tammy was rushed to the hospital just one day after checking into a food addiction rehab because she couldn’t breathe. She was placed on a ventilator and put into a medically induced coma.
